Ringo was a drummer but on a top ten list of greatest drummers I disagree. He was just in the right band. What about jazz drummers? Art Blakey, Roy Haynes, Kenny Clarke, Jo Jones? Without these guys, no Moon, Bonham, Ringo, etc. I always forget the name of Black Sabbath drummer but this guy is high on my list.

Haha, I believe his first name is William. Gene and Buddy are great drummers, don't get me wrong. Somewhere out on the internet are recordings of Buddy Rich being very angry with his studio musicians, total asshole

if you want to delve into the sub-genre of "smooth jazz" you'd have to(IMHO)include Harvey Mason.

And BTW, where are Lee Ritenour and Larry Carlton in the guitar list?
